Should I join a PRO if I distribute with UnitedMasters?

UnitedMasters is a distribution service that collects royalties on behalf of you as a performing artist, NOT a songwriter or composer.

We cannot advise whether or not you should join a PRO, but it's important if you’d like to collect songwriter royalties when your composition is played in various public venues. Use your best judgment on which PRO you’d like to join.
