I've never cashed out before - why can't I cash out the full amount of my 'Total Earnings'?

In December 2022, we launched the Wallet, which allows artists to cash out their earnings at any time. We add earnings to your Wallet on a monthly basis, as this is generally the schedule on which DSPs send us money on your behalf.

Prior to the launch of the Wallet, all earnings were automatically distributed to artists via a connected PayPal account, which was mandatory to connect when signing up for the platform.

If you were a member of UnitedMasters who received royalties before December 2022, any funds that we received on your behalf were already sent to your connected PayPal at the time that we received and processed them. The 'Total Earnings' figure that appears in the Wallet page on your account includes all funds that you have earned, including funds that have already been deposited in your PayPal account.

If you're seeing a discrepancy between your Total Earnings and your Wallet balance, and you were a UnitedMasters member before December 2022, this is the most common explanation.
