With our sunset of distribution privileges for DEBUT artists, starting in October 2025, we understand that our paid artists may have concerns about their account as well.
Rest assured that no changes will be directly made to your SELECT account, as long as you are subscribed! That said, there are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to DEBUT accounts, in case you decide to cancel your membership or it lapses.
- Previously, music for DEBUT artists was distributed to Meta apps (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp) as well as TikTok. Going forward, this will no longer be the case. So, if your subscription ends for whatever reason, your releases will be removed from all stores - they will no longer be live on social platforms.
- If your subscription ends, you will have one year from the date of the expiration to redistribute your music by repurchasing a DEBUT+ or SELECT membership. After that year, records of your music will be permanently deleted from our system. If your membership lapses for over a year and you'd like to redistribute after that time, you will have to manually re-upload any releases you'd like to go live.
This change is being made to ensure our team can focus on providing the best tools and the best support for our paid artists! We're glad to have you as part of the team, and we'll continue to improve our offerings so that our DEBUT+ and SELECT artists can continue to have access to the top tools in the business.
