If you have been contacted by someone claiming to be a part of the UnitedMasters A&R team, there are a couple of easy ways to determine whether or not they are actually associated with UnitedMasters:
1) If they contacted you by email, do they have an @unitedmasters.com email address?
2) If they contacted you via Instagram, are they being followed by the official UnitedMasters Instagram account?
If the answer to either of those questions is "no", or if the person who contacted you is asking for money, that person is not associated with UnitedMasters.
If you receive a suspicious message from someone claiming to be an A&R and you are not sure if it’s real or not, please feel free to send a screenshot of the communication that you received to our Fraud Prevention Team, so that we can confirm.
