What bit sample rate files should I submit for my releases?

UnitedMasters accepts 16-bit OR 24-bit .wav or .flac files with sample rates of 44.1, 48, 96, 176.4, and 192 kHz!

That said, it is highly recommended that artists submit files at a bit sample rate of 16bit 44.1khz - as this bit sample rate is virtually indistinguishable from higher bit sample rates (and comes in a smaller file)!

 Please note that bit sample rate files higher than 16bit 44.1khz will be automatically converted back to 16bit 44.1khz upon delivery to most music services. Below is a list of DSPs where we can deliver 24-bit files:

Please also note that if .flac, .mp3, or .m4a files are provided, they will be automatically converted to 16-bit stereo .wav files to meet music service requirements, which may have an impact on sound quality.
