How will my collaborators receive their splits, and when do they get paid?

Split invitations will be sent to collaborator(s) via email. It is recommended that these invitations are accepted on a desktop or laptop computer, as accepting split invitations are not optimized for the mobile experience at this time. Once a collaborator is invited and accepts their split invitation, they’ll be actively listed on the splits for the release.

Your collaborator(s) will receive their share of any royalties earned from the month they accepted their split invitation. For example, if you add a collaborator on February 28th, and they accept the split on March 6th, they will receive royalties starting from March 1 onward. Please note that because streaming services pay on a delay, it may take 45-60 days for split royalties to post in your collaborators’ UnitedMasters account after accepting their split invitation.
