As the release owner, you can make changes to your splits at any time as long as you have an active UnitedMasters membership. Existing collaborator(s) will receive an email informing them of any updates made to their share(s) (if any), and new collaborator(s) will automatically receive an email invitation to accept once you’ve made the changes to your release’s Splits. Collaborators cannot edit their active splits - if a collaborator is requesting changes to be made, please ensure you (the release owner) make these edits on their behalf. Please note that split shares must add up to 100% before they can be saved.
You can remove collaborators on any of your tracks by heading to the ‘MUSIC’ section of your UnitedMasters account, and navigating to the release you’re looking to edit. Once you scroll down to ‘SPLIT PAY’, click on ‘EDIT’, and you’ll be able to add or remove any collaborators currently on the release’s splits.
Please note that if a collaborator is removed, their share will need to be assigned to another collaborator (or yourself) before you are able to save the changes.
