Every track that UnitedMasters delivers needs an International Standard Recording Code (or "ISRC"), which music services use to identify your track and make sure that streams and royalties are properly allocated to it (among many other things).
You can read more about ISRCs on the website of the US ISRC Agency.
If you don't already have an ISRC for your track when you submit it to UnitedMasters, not to worry! We will assign one for you automatically when your release is approved and delivered to music services.
In order to find the ISRC that UnitedMasters has assigned to your track:
IF YOU'RE USING OUR WEBSITE:
- Click on the MUSIC tab (with the musical note icon) in the left sidebar.
- Click on the distributed release with the applicable track.
- Scroll down to the track list and you'll see the ISRC next to the "WRITERS".
IF YOU'RE USING OUR MOBILE APP:
- Click on the icon that looks like a person, at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the distributed release with the applicable track.
- Click on the name of the track.
- Click the Information icon (the lower case "i") in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
