If you have multi-factor authentication (MFA) turned on for your UnitedMasters account, you may be asked to provide your account password and MFA code that is texted to the number associated with your account prior to updating your payment information. This added layer of security helps to ensure that your account stays safe and that only the authorized individual is editing payment sources associated with your Wallet.
To update your payment settings with MFA enabled in iOS:
- Tap into the Wallet.
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
- Tap Payment Settings.
- Enter your UnitedMasters password and click done
- Enter the 6-digit code sent to the phone number associated with your UnitedMasters account.
- You will then be redirected to your Wallet to see recent payments, add/remove payout methods, and review tax information.
To update your payment settings with MFA enabled on the web:
- Click into the Wallet.
- Click the three dots.
- Click Payment Settings.
- Enter your UnitedMasters password and click done
- Enter the 6-digit code sent to the phone number associated with your UnitedMasters account.
- You will then be redirected to your Wallet to see recent payments, add/remove payout methods, and review tax information.
If you run into any issues with entering your MFA code when editing your Wallet information, we recommend logging out of the UnitedMasters app or website and trying again.
