Does UnitedMasters support Lyric Delivery?

Yes! UnitedMasters supports the delivery of lyrics to Apple Music for our SELECT and PARTNER artists.

Please note that UnitedMasters only supports lyric delivery to Apple Music at this time. If you are interested in having lyrics delivered to other music services such as Spotify, we recommend doing so via Musixmatch.

Once our team reviews and approves any of your releases that you're looking to have lyrics delivered to Apple Music for, please reach out to our teams with your delivery request and make sure to include:

• Release title, UPC, and track title(s) you're looking to have lyrics delivered for.

• Artist name and email associated with your UnitedMasters account (if different from the email you're reaching out from).

• Lyrics for your track(s) - either as an email attachment or included in the body of the email. If you are looking to have time-synced lyrics delivered for your release, please provide the .TTML file in your request. We are unable to deliver time-synced lyrics without this file type.

Once our team reviews your request, we will help to manually deliver lyrics for your tracks to Apple Music on or after the release date!

Please note that this feature is only available to UnitedMasters SELECT and PARTNER artists. If you are a DEBUT+ artist interested in lyric delivery to Apple Music, we recommend considering upgrading to a SELECT membership to gain access to things such as Dolby Atmos Delivery, Apple Motion Art Delivery, the ability to submit to SELECT Exclusive opportunities, and much more!

Please also note that time-synced lyrics are applied on Apple Music solely at the discretion of Apple and isn't guaranteed.

Direct Lyric Delivery Feature (UnitedMasters Website/Mobile App)

As of August 2025, we've just launched our new on-platform Lyrics Delivery feature, enabling artists to submit lyrics directly via the release submission flow for delivery to Apple Music. Lyrics are typically added to a release during its submission process, and once successfully uploaded and finalized, they should appear on Apple Music by the release date.

This feature is available when creating a release in your UM account via Web and our iOS and Android Apps.

Artists can now submit plain text lyrics for their tracks directly through the UnitedMasters release submission flow. These lyrics will be delivered to Apple Music only at this time.

Please note that any lyric edits needed after your release has been submitted will need assistance from our teams. If you need to make any edits to your lyrics after your release has been submitted and delivered, please reach out to us. If your lyrics do not appear on Apple Music after the release date, ensure your release submission was finalized correctly.
